Summer Bishil (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1985) is an American actress, best recognized for her role as Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired through 2015. Her prior role as a Lebanese American teens Jasira that goes through a series of personal struggles with the backdrop of the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. Following that she was named as one of Variety's Top Ten Actors To Watch. In 2009, she played the imposing Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for the film. The actress has also appeared in a number of films, including The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on TV, including co-lead role in Lucky 7.
