Allana was a player for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to stay off the field for many years prior to making the switch back to rugby league. Allana had her first ever union rugby game for women that was played by New South Wales and was the star of the game against Queensland. Allana's radio career has grown since she is a regular on the 2GB Continuous Call Team, a top-rated show. In addition to her work in sport, Allana is also a certified teacher. Allana Ferguson has the unique accomplishment of playing for Australia in three different sports that include Rugby sevens (rugby league) as well as touch rugby union. Jillaroos' star Allana Ferguson has been required to put an abrupt conclusion to her professional rugby career after tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson aged 25, has previously suffered tears to the same ligament at the age of 15 17, 17 and 20 when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated her playing days were over. Ferguson played for JILLAROOS's team and was forced to step down earlier due to a fourth tear to the ACL of her left. Ferguson was injured in her ACL the month of November, while training. In the last week she announced the information in an interview with The Courier Mail.
